Wildstyle or bubble letters? Flat or three-dimensional?
Black and white or full color? Following the bestselling
first book Graff, comes Graff 2: Next Level Graffiti Techniques.
Delving further
than in his first book, graffiti artist Scape Martinez
brings you into his world, sharing his approach to letters,
color and design. From working it out with paper and pens
to working largely (and legally, of course) on walls, Graff
2 reveals the nuts and bolts of graffiti style along with
ideas and techniques for bringing those styles to life.

Graff
2 will bring out the
graffiti artist in you with full-scale demonstrations, heavily
illustrated examples followed by step-by-step instructions,
an expanded glossary of graffiti terms, and Scape’s own graffiti
tips.
With this rare inside perspective
on graffiti art, you will develop techniques for 3D wildstyle,
characters and objects, letter manipulations, and much more.
Take it to the walls!
About the Author
Scape
Martinez is an accomplished multidisciplinary artist
and writer. He was born in Newark, New Jersey, to Puerto Rican
immigrant parents. Scape grew up in the San
Francisco Bay Area and has been involved in graffiti art since
the 1980s. Since then he has pushed the boundaries of what
is considered graffiti and street art to include in fine art,
commercial art, and public art. As a recognized artist, his
fine art paintings combine elements of graffiti and abstract
expressionism to create large scale, rhythmic and expressive
compositions that transcends mere technique. Scape’s first
book, GRAFF: the Art and Technique of Graffiti, was the first
ever how to book on graffiti art and is an international bestseller.
In 2009 he began public speaking engagements to discuss his
unique perspective on art and creativity. His insightful, thought-provoking
and highly visual lectures inform, inspire, and motivate both
young adults and working professionals alike.
